UB Media, an advertising sales company that specializes in the Out-of-Home media vertical through the company’s network of Resto-Bar, Campus and Cinema media properties has acquired the exclusive media sales representation rights to the media properties of Landmark Cinemas Canada and Imagine Cinemas. UB Media is presently booking 2019 campaigns for its new in-theatre network.

UB Media’s addition of Landmark and Imagine Cinemas’ media properties, which presently includes representation of Quebec’s Cinémas Guzzo and leading independent Québec exhibitors , significantly expands the company’s reach within the cinema channel, providing UB Media’s advertising partners with access to 760 movie screens, a notable market share of over 30% of all movie screens in Canada.

In 2017 UB Media announced the certification of its Cinema Network with COMMB, the Canadian Out of Home Marketing & Measurement Bureau. As the first media sales agency within the cinema channel to be accredited by COMMB, and by applying its impression-based methodology to onscreen advertising, UB Media provides its partners with a transparent, third-party impression auditing of their campaigns. UB Media will apply for COMMB certification of the Landmark and Imagine Cinemas’ network to provide its advertising partners with the only national, audited cinema advertising circuit.
