The Guzzo family (known for their eponymous cinema chain around Greater Montreal) recently plunged into the restaurant business developing a higher-end chain pizzeria. The family first opened Pizzeria Giulietta at the St-Léonard Guzzo Cinema a little over a year ago, with a focus on Neapolitan-style pizza in a sleek-but-casual dining setting. Now Giulietta just opened a second location right alongside the Guzzo Cinema at the Marché Central shopping location – perfect for ‘dinner & a movie’ nights.

With an avant-garde design – the latest location designed by Jean-Pierre Viau (Toqué, Patrice Pâtissier) offers a trendy yet welcoming warm space with bright splashes of colour. But the food and wine remain the big draws. Made with traditional ingredients, their Neapolitan pizzas are baked to perfection in wood-fired ovens. The kitchen’s dedication to flavour and authentic ingredients is noticeable by the in-house preparation of fresh pasta and cured meats; while also offering an impressive and affordable selection of locally produced wines from Italy, beers and traditional Italian aperitifs and digestives.
